Our Values Underpin Everything We Do

Our Vision is to be a leading and race-winning Club in Sydney. We welcome paddlers of all ages, genders, backgrounds and ability. We create the best environment to have fun and make friends, while training hard to maximise performance.

  • COMMUNITY AND FRIENDSHIP - We have a fun environment that is respectful and connects people

  • SUCCEED TOGETHER - We build strong successful teams on and off the water

  • BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE - We strive for excellence in everything we do

  • EQUALITY - We embrace people regardless of age, gender, background or ability

  • INNOVATION - We continue to improve our club by listening to our members

Choose how involved you want to be.

FFB is a community club with a great range of opportunities to get fit, compete, socialise and volunteer. You choose.

Training

Get fit on the water, build core and upper body strength and develop aerobic stamina.

  • Technique and timing are key to a cohesive team. Training sessions are run regularly, up to three times a week during peak season.

  • Our Coaches make training both fun and beneficial.

  • Our goal is to create the best possible team we can to compete in regattas at the local, state and national levels.

Racing

  • FFB has been successful at Regional, State and National level

  • Several of our members have represented Australia at World Title Championships.

  • Our teamwork and dedication have been a catalyst for this success.

  • The whole club contributes to our success, including our members who only train for fun and fitness. Without their support to get on the water and train, we would not be the team we are.

Volunteering

FFB is an active part of the local community and there are always opportunities to get involved and give something back:

  • Help the club operate for the benefit of the members

  • Help ensure local regattas run smoothly by volunteering at the state and national level

  • Volunteer for large local events e.g. City2Surf, Sydney Half Marathon

  • Volunteering is a great way to build real world skills, raise funds for the club and spend time with some great people.
